For many years kitenge or ankara fashion has been a traditional fashion wear. The beautiful fabric is known for its outstanding prints and bright colors that bring out its uniqueness that is inspired by African style. Kids look actually stunning in Ankara given its beautiful bright coloured prints and also the soft, and warm fabric. From clothes to accessories, name it all. Ankara is a fabric I would never say no to. Whenever I see Ankara prints on the international runways, I always feel proud of my African Heritage. It is a fabric that is here to stay. Guys this is a fabric you can’t miss in your wardrobe or that of your kids. Long live ankara 😊 Here goes some pics of me rocking my Ankara dress which I styled up with my matching headband.😍
So my birthday was on May 15,2017. I finally turned 4 and was excited not sure why I was excited but maybe because I was going to get a trolls animated cake and four lighted candles that I would blow to mark this big day. So mum woke me early morning with her usual noisy voice "Zahrie, my mama, maam, wake up its your birthday" I woke up in a hurry not playing my usual sleep games whenever she wakes me up for school. I hurried and gave her a morning hug and ran to the sitting room expecting my trolls cake and candles , to my shock she sang me a Happy Birthday and told my nanny to prepare my breakfast and go to school. I wanted none of that. I fumed and started crying that I had no cake and it was my birthday. Finally she mentioned that plans are in order and I was going to get my cake before the week ends. Happy Birthday to me, this is my first blog post . Get tuned for more posts on Kids fashion wear and many of my encounters with mum.
